The service may be used on either a temporary or permanent basis.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Eligible patrons are residents in the Victor and Farmington area who cannot get to the library for reasons such as illness, injury or handicap. The Victor Free Library serves the residents of the Victor Central School District.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">To begin the service call the library at 585-924-2637. A <span style="font-weight: bold;">Books on Wheels</span> volunteer will contact you to set up an initial visit. At that visit we will ask you for information about your reading preferences and any limitations that will affect your reading materials. It is possible to request specific titles and authors or you can rely on the volunteer to choose materials based on your preferences.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Regular and large print books, paperback books, magazines, books on tape or CD can be requested. We can also bring you movies on VHS or DVD. Almost anything you would find on a typical library visit can be requested.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">You and your<span style="font-weight: bold;"> Books on Wheels</span> volunteer will set up a delivery schedule that works for you. Normally we schedule visits every three weeks. Items can be renewed by phone if necessary, provided there are no other patron requests for the materials.
